Graduate School Overview

Fairleigh Dickinson University (the University) is New Jersey's largest private institution of higher education. The University enrolls more than 11,000 students, including nearly 4,000 graduate students. While the majority of its graduate students hail from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, the University also attracts a large number of international students. The master's degree is offered in more than 60 different areas of business administration, education, engineering, liberal arts, public administration and the sciences. The University's multi-campus structure promotes highly personal and interactive graduate classes of usually less than a dozen students.

Buildings and Resources

Graduate studies are offered on FDU's two attractive, suburban campuses located in northern New Jersey, plus numerous statewide locations for select programs. Graduate study options are provided at FDU's Wroxton College in England. The Metropolitan Campus - home to FDU's largest and most diverse student body - offers a professional learning experience just minutes from Manhattan. Located on the site of the former Bergen Junior College purchased by FDU in 1954, the 88-acre Metropolitan Campus offers students a quiet, suburban living and learning environment 10 miles from the cultural, social and career opportunities of New York City.
